Dr. Aytuğ Onan received his B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from Izmir University of Economics, Turkey in 2010.
He completed his M.Sc. (2013) and Ph.D. (2016) in Computer Engineering at Ege University, Turkey.

Since September 2025, he has been serving as a Full Professor of Computer Science in the Department of Computer Engineering at İzmir Institute of Technology (IZTECH), Turkey.
